Can't believe I haven't uploaded anything in almost a year. Not writing a journal I can understand, because I'm so horrible at them.

Work is just keeping me on a one track mind that my creativity is gone. Not that I was all that creative to begin with but there's not an ounce left to work with after dealing with "the joys of retail." More tomorrow...yay. I'm happy I have a job, just wish it was more fulfilling than retail with less stress.

Hadn't realized it had been so long since I last posted a journal. Last year! Wow.

So I haven't been taking a lot of pictures lately. Mainly dealt with finding a job this year and trying to get into the right sleeping habits to be awake at work. I work logistics for Target so I've been getting up at 4am to be at work at 6am for truck. On the 31st I'll have to start getting up at 2am because truck will be moved back to 4am. I have no clue what time I'll have to go to bed in order to fall asleep. My sleeping habits are just screwed up. But yay! 40 hours a week for this next quarter! Makes me happy!

I've been baking a lot. Made a bunch of pretzels based on a recipe that's close to the Pretzelmaker recipe. Cookies, Banana Bread, Beer Batter Bread... I'm a baking fool. I want to make a cake based off of fav.me/d4cvkpc but I've never decorated a cake like that before and it wouldn't be complete without an Impala so I'd have to make one since I can't find any four doors anywhere. I'm doubting my replicating skills and doing justice with the Impala so I'm hesitant to make the cake without practicing making the Impala first. Who knows with what and when I'll be able to do that.

I've been thinking about going back to school. Graphic design is mainly what I'm thinking about but no clue about that.

I have so many things I want to do but after work I just want to zone out, relax, and surf the web. I started a story back in 2009 for NaNoWriMo, didn't finish it, want to try and finish it this year but the 2am's are probably going to take a big toll on me. I have a few Supernatural backgrounds that I want to make/finish for myself and others if people want. I want to take more pictures, which will probably happen if we have a major snowstorm and I'm stuck at home. It just all depends on if I can stay awake and use my time wisely.

Anyway, I doubt anyone would read this but that's what I've been up to and any plans I have for the rest of the year.

I would love to be able to fix an old photo that I've scanned to my computer. I have some very vague ideas of what to do but they don't work out like I would like them too.

I know it probably can't be completely saved but I would love to be able to try and rescue some of it.

I have Photoshop Elements but only have a really basic knowledge of it's abilities.

Oh yay, I timed myself as well. One whole minute. lol, for some reason I'm proud.

I went out and took pictures today. They were, what I thought to be rather good ones, only I had forgotten I had messed with my camera "experimenting." Actually I just screwed my camera up, not bad but now it's...off. My question is if anyone knows a way to fix it.

I have a Canon Rebel XT EOS and when I was playing around yesterday I found out there was this little rolly wheel next to the view finder. (I don't know the actual names for things on my camera, they're just the thingy, dealy, thingamabob and such. ) Anyway, now when I take pictures, I can't use manual focus. In the view finder it looks focused but then the picture is actually out of focus. I don't have a manual for the camera as it was a hand-me-down from my brother. So any help would be wonderful!
